Masters
Hockey Ireland is represented by a range of men’s and women’s Masters squads. Recent triumphs include a World Cup silver medal for the Women’s O50’s as they scored no fewer than 19 goals during the tournament in Canberra.
The Ireland Hockey Mens Masters play in all the main sanctioned FIH, EHF, World Hockey Masters (WHM) Tournaments at 60s level, 65s level and 70s level (whenever possible) plus other occasional International ‘Tournament Trophy’ Masters and Masters Hockey Festivals throughout Europe.
The main International Tournaments are the bi-annual World Masters Hockey Cup and European Masters Hockey Championship events plus the annual local UK & Ireland Four Nations Masters Tournament (England/Ireland/Scotland/Wales) and the annual Celtic Cup Masters Hockey Championship (France/Ireland/Scotland/Wales) with host venue being usually on a rotational basis. The recent Ireland Masters 60s/65s/70s Squads are pictured, each Ireland Squad play in official approved kit and have a Manager, Coach and Physio support pre and during tournaments.

In-season training takes place monthly, alternatively in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland at top-class hockey facilities.
